1. Information we collect

We may collect account information such as names, work email addresses, company names, roles, authentication information, billing status, and customer support communications. Organizations may provide employee information such as name, work or personal contact information, department, employee identifier, city, state, ZIP code, and SMS consent status.

We also collect service activity and technical information needed to operate and secure Team Clear, such as login activity, audit events, check-in status, employee responses, delivery status, device/browser information, IP address, and error logs.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, identify employees who may be affected by qualifying events, deliver safety check-ins, record responses, support customers, maintain audit history, administer trials and subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Customer and employee information

Organizations are responsible for deciding what employee information they submit to Team Clear and for having appropriate authority to provide that information. Team Clear processes employee information to provide the service to the organization that supplied it.

4. SMS and mobile information

Mobile phone information and SMS opt-in data are used to provide requested safety check-in messaging and related service functions. We do not sell mobile phone information or SMS opt-in data, and we do not share that information with third parties or affiliates for their own promotional or marketing purposes.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share personal data, including SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including platform providers, telecommunications carriers, phone companies, and other vendors that assist in the delivery, security, or support of text messages.

All data-sharing categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent from sharing for promotional, marketing, or other unrelated purposes.

5. Service providers

We use third-party service providers for functions such as hosting, authentication, payments, email delivery, text messaging, monitoring, analytics, and support. These providers may process information on our behalf subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

6. When we may disclose information

We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, safety, or security of Team Clear, our customers, employees, or others, in connection with a business transaction, or with the direction or authorization of the applicable customer.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and support legitimate customer needs. Retention periods may differ by data type and account status.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security, and customers are responsible for safeguarding their credentials and managing access to their Team Clear workspace.
