SMS Terms & Consent

These SMS Terms explain how Team Clear safety check-in text messaging works and the choices available to message recipients.

Last updated: September 27, 2026

1. Program description

Team Clear provides a workforce safety communications service used by participating employers and organizations to support operational employee safety check-ins and related emergency-response communications. SMS messages are sent as Team Clear messages and may identify the employer or organization that requested the check-in. Messages may ask whether you are safe, affected by an event, or would like someone from your organization to contact you.

2. Consent

You should receive Team Clear text messages only after you have expressly agreed to receive Team Clear employee safety check-in SMS messages at the mobile number provided. A participating employer may collect and record that consent as part of its employee safety or HR process, but the consent must specifically identify Team Clear SMS safety check-ins. Providing a phone number for another purpose alone does not constitute SMS consent. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of employment, purchasing goods or services, or using non-SMS Team Clear safety communication channels.

3. Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on qualifying events and safety check-ins initiated by your organization. Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and plan.

4. Opt out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, you should receive a confirmation and no further Team Clear safety check-in texts from that messaging program unless you opt back in. Where supported, reply START to opt back in.

5. Help

Reply HELP for help or contact support@team-clear.com. Your employer or organization may also provide its own HR, safety, or emergency contact information.

6. Delivery

Wireless carriers and messaging providers do not guarantee delivery. Text messages may be delayed, blocked, duplicated, or unavailable due to carrier, network, device, regulatory, or technical conditions. Team Clear text messaging is not a substitute for 911 or other emergency services.

7. Privacy

Mobile phone information and SMS opt-in data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own promotional or marketing purposes. Information may be shared with service providers and telecommunications partners as necessary to provide the messaging service. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

8. Employer-administered consent

A participating employer may document an employee's Team Clear SMS consent through a digital or written employee authorization, an HR onboarding or safety-communication form, or another affirmative consent process that specifically states that the employee agrees to receive Team Clear safety check-in text messages. An authorized Team Clear administrator then records that consent in the employee's Team Clear profile before SMS is enabled. The consent control in Team Clear is off by default and is not enabled merely because a mobile number is entered. Organizations are responsible for maintaining appropriate evidence of the employee's affirmative consent and honoring opt-out requests.

9. Contact

For Team Clear messaging support, contact support@team-clear.com, call (407) 557-4420, or write to Team Clear, 2912 Bluestem Lane, Clermont, FL 34714.
