Terms
Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of Team Clear, including our employee emergency monitoring, alerting, check-in, response, and related subscription services.
Last updated: September 27, 2026
1. The service
Team Clear provides tools that help organizations monitor qualifying events, identify employees who may be located in affected areas, send safety check-ins, and review employee responses. Team Clear is a communications and workflow tool. It is not an emergency dispatch service, emergency notification authority, public safety agency, or substitute for 911 or other emergency services.
2. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information they provide, determining who should receive access to their workspace, maintaining appropriate employee contact information, evaluating alerts, deciding whether and when to send communications, and following their own emergency procedures.
Customers must have all permissions and consents required to provide employee information to Team Clear and to contact employees through the channels they enable.
3. Accounts and access
Users must provide accurate account information and protect their credentials. Customers are responsible for activity occurring under their authorized accounts and for promptly disabling access that is no longer appropriate.
4. SMS messaging
If a customer uses SMS features, the customer must obtain and maintain any consent required to send the applicable messages. SMS consent must be specific to text messaging and may not be inferred solely because an employee supplied a phone number for another purpose. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
Additional SMS terms are available in the Team Clear SMS Terms.
5. Trials, subscriptions, and billing
Paid plans, trial periods, billing intervals, renewal terms, and prices are presented during signup or checkout. Unless otherwise stated at signup, a trial converts to the selected paid plan at the end of the trial if a valid payment method is on file and the subscription has not been cancelled. Customers may cancel as described in the service before the applicable renewal or conversion date.
6. Acceptable use
Customers may not use Team Clear to send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, harassing, unsolicited, or unauthorized communications; interfere with the service; attempt unauthorized access; misuse personal information; or use the service in violation of applicable law, carrier requirements, or third-party rights.
7. Third-party services and event data
Team Clear relies on third-party infrastructure, communications providers, payment providers, and external information sources. Availability, timing, coverage, accuracy, and delivery can be affected by those services. Event information and geographic matching should be treated as decision-support information and not as a guarantee that every relevant event or affected person will be identified.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or modify features as the service evolves. We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
9. Ownership
Team Clear and its software, branding, interfaces, and related materials are owned by Team Clear or its licensors. Customers retain their rights in the information they submit and grant Team Clear the rights necessary to process that information to operate, secure, and support the service.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, security concerns, misuse, legal or carrier compliance issues, material breach of these Terms, or where continued operation could create risk to Team Clear, a customer, an employee, or another party. Customers may stop using the service and cancel according to their subscription terms.
11. Disclaimers and limitation
Team Clear is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Emergency events, telecommunications networks, external data sources, and internet services can be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Customers remain responsible for their safety procedures and emergency decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Team Clear will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Any additional limitation of liability applicable to a paid customer may be stated in an order form or other written agreement.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and may provide additional notice for material changes.
